Mind Map - Graph
Introduction: Graph is defined as a diagram that shows a relationship between two variables. The independent variable is taken on the X-axis and the dependent variable on the Y-axis.
It is useful to study the nature of motion of a body. Time (independent variable) is taken along X-axis and displacement/velocity/acceleration (dependent variables) along Y-axis.
1. Body at rest
2. Uniform motion
3. Non-uniform motion: i) rate decreasing ii) rate increasing
i) Body at rest
ii) Uniform motion
iii) Uniform acceleration
iv) Non-uniform acceleration
i) Uniform motion (acceleration zero)
ii) Uniform acceleration
iii) Non-uniform acceleration
i) Area under Velocity-Time graph gives Displacement
ii) Area under Acceleration-Time graph gives Velocity
i) Slope of Displacement-Time graph gives Velocity
ii) Slope of Velocity-Time graph gives Acceleration
This mind map is a fantastic visual aid for understanding motion graphs. Thank you for creating such an informative resource!
